About us
VI (Visual Intelligence) Robotics specialized in image recognition with microprocessors, helping outdoor solar-powered robots perform effectively and optimize power consumption both during day and night.
Image recognition by desktop computers or laptop computers is easy because common computers are very powerful in terms of speed and storage. But when we come to microprocessors, we have to work out their own algorithms using their limited resources, to process binary image data constantly, recognize the target image among its surroundings and locate its coordinates, and instruct robots how to react instantly. This is very challenging. Fortunately, after 3 years of hardworking, engineers have worked out the solution and approved its effectiveness.
About products
- The first commercial robots using visual intelligence will be pool cleaners, both on and in the water. They are under development. By recognizing leaves and dusts on the water and on the bottom of the pool, the robots will cut to the chase and finish cleaning jobs quickly with least electricity. When the cleaning job is done, the robots will rest but keep watching the working area for new leaves and dusts, till it is necessary for a new mission of cleaning.
